    1. Iron resonant AC voltage regulated power supply: the AC voltage regulated device with constant volt-ampere characteristics is composed of saturated choke coil and corresponding capacitor. Magnetic saturation type is the typical structure of this kind of regulator in the early stage. It has the advantages of simple structure, convenient manufacture, wide input voltage range, reliable operation, strong overload capacity and so on. However, the waveform distortion is large and the stab
    ility is not high.
    2, magnetic amplifier type AC regulated voltage power supply: the magnetic amplifier and the autotransformer in series together, the use of electronic lines to change the impedance of the magnetic amplifier to stabilize the output voltage device. The circuit form can be linear amplification, pulse width modulation, etc. It has the advantages of high stability and good output waveform, but it has a long recovery time and poor anti-interference ability.
    3, sliding AC regulated power supply: by changing the position of the transformer sliding contact, the output voltage stability device, that is, the automatic voltage regulator driven by the servo motor. The voltage regulator has high efficiency, good output voltage waveform and no special requirements for load characteristics. However, the stability is low and the recovery time is long.
    4, induction type AC regulated power supply: by changing the phase difference of the transformer secondary voltage relative to the primary voltage, the output AC voltage is stable. With a wide range of voltage regulation, good output voltage waveform, power up to hundreds of kilowatts. But because the rotor is often blocked, the power consumption is high and the efficiency is low.
    5, thyristor AC voltage regulator power supply: use thyristor as a power regulating element of AC voltage regulator. It has the advantages of high stability, fast reaction speed and no noise. But due to the destruction of the grid waveform, communication equipment and electronic equipment are disturbed.
    6, relay type AC regulated power supply: has the advantages of wide voltage range, fast response speed, low production cost.
