Programmable DC power Supply Want high precision measurement

No matter the traditional analog oscilloscope or the modern digital oscilloscope, the programmable DC power supply has the function of measuring signal frequency since the birth of the product. In the early days of the analog oscilloscope, frequency measurement process need to engineer level manually adjust the time base and trigger function, make the screen presents 1 ~ 2 cycle stability of waveform, by observing the programmable dc power signals in a cycle the number of occupied level unit, and then reference level time base to estimate the signal cycle, finally get the frequency.

In recent years, with the rapid development of the measurement technology of programmable DC power digital oscilloscope in precision, speed, ease of use and other aspects, oscilloscope can automatically and quickly complete the signal frequency measurement and display on the screen, convenient for engineers to read. However, when using an oscilloscope for frequency measurement, you often encounter problems such as:
1. The measurement result of the programmable DC power supply frequency is obtained by calculating the sampled data of one cycle. Because different horizontal time bases correspond to different sampling rates, the interval between sampling points is different, which will affect the measurement accuracy.
2. When engineers actually measure a very stable signal frequency of programmable DC power supply, there will be random changes in the last few decimal points of the measurement result, which is also a manifestation of low measurement accuracy.
When the cable length is 5m, the load output without remote sensing monitoring function is compared with the voltage waveform in use. When the programmable DC power supply uses the remote sensing monitoring function, the output voltage of the load is unchanged and the voltage is relatively stable.
