The role of DC electronic load
Electronic loads use multi-channel or single-channel output AC/DC power supplies, multi-channel or single-channel output DC/DC converters, electrical and power electronic components for performance testing. Modular design, the user can be selected with different load power modules into the system host frame, and through the front control board keyboard, RS-232 standard interface or GPIB standard interface to control it.

Electronic loads can be inductive or capacitive loads. The voltage obtained after the load is connected to the power supply is not the actual output voltage of the power supply. Therefore, to truly measure the output voltage (or current or output power) of a power supply, the load must be set to ensure that the measured output voltage is a true output value.
Electronic load is mainly used for power supply performance test. Electronic loads are used as power loads, like load resistors, and can effectively simulate actual loads. Because it is programmable, you can set the size of the load, load and unload times, and load rate for automatic control of the program.
The resistor attached behind the electronic load becomes the resistor divider, so the output voltage measurement of the supply will be inaccurate and less than the true value. If your output impedance of the power supply is a certain value and the load impedance is infinite, then the voltage across the internal resistance of the power supply after the voltage division is negligible, and the output voltage of the power supply is the true value.
